John is involved in all aspects of the research and investment process at Punch & Associates and works closely with the investment team to manage investment strategies at the firm. He joined Punch shortly after its inception in 2002 as a research analyst and became a Managing Partner and Portfolio Manager in 2013. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) designation.
John lives in the Twin Cities with his wife and children. He graduated Magna Cum Laude and with Delta Epsilon Sigma honors from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota, and enjoys reading, boating, and skiing with his family.
