The moment Steve started high school, he bought his first stock with an in-development solar company making flexible photovoltaic panels (don’t worry, he didn’t know what they were either). His reasoning? “Renewable energy is all the rage, so I’ll invest in some cool new technology.” Although he made a few hundred bucks, the most important thing he gained was an understanding that investment choices shouldn’t be based on hunches or headlines. So, he started researching businesses in his spare time and making more calculated investments of his own until his newfound wisdom and passion led him to Punch.
A typical day at the office for Steve involves supporting the reporting functions of the firm, preparing materials for prospective clients, and being the go-to guy for Punch’s portfolio management software, which he made sure included all historical data so the firm could report client activity holistically.
Steve holds a BA in Financial Management from the University of St. Thomas and enjoys being one of the many “Tommies” in the office. He originally hails from Naples, Florida, and growing up in balmy weather year-round made him a pretty decent tennis player. He’s not too shabby at sailing, snowboarding, or triathlons either.
